Hinckley Allen’s Construction & Public Contracts Gains Strength with the Addition of New Partner Wendy Kennedy Venoit

Hinckley Allen is pleased to welcome Wendy K. Venoit as a Partner into our Construction & Public Contracts practice group. Wendy joins our Boston office after having served as the Vice President & General Counsel of Suffolk Construction Company, Inc.

“Wendy’s experience and extensive work with industry associations brings great value,” says David Rubin, Managing Partner at Hinckley Allen. “We are delighted that she chose to join our firm.”

Wendy is a Fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers and has been recognized with numerous accolades and awards for her work. She earned this recognition by being an effective advocate in construction litigation and dispute resolution, representing clients both nationally and internationally. Wendy also serves on the panel of construction neutrals for the AAA, ICDR, LCIA, ICC and CPR International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution. She is the former general counsel of an ENR Top 30 Construction Firm and, from that experience, has gained insights to the internal dynamics and challenges that her clients face.

Recently, Wendy was elected as Chair-Elect of the ABA Forum on Construction Law, and was a Founder and former Officer of the Connecticut Chapter of the Professional Women in Construction (PWC).

“I’m happy to be welcomed by such a talented group of attorneys,” said Venoit. “Hinckley Allen’s Construction & Public Contracts practice group is recognized nationally and I’m excited to be a part of its continued growth.”
