Laura Angelini is a partner in the Firm’s White Collar Defense & Government Investigations and Litigation practice groups. Laura’s practice includes representation of individuals and corporate clients in government investigations across a wide range of industries – health care, construction and public procurement, securities and financial services.
Laura regularly represents employees of pharmaceutical and medical device companies in criminal and civil investigations of potential off-label marketing, kickbacks and other inducements. She has extensive experience with the False Claims Act, the Mail and Wire Fraud statutes, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.
Laura is an experienced trial attorney and also routinely represents clients before state and federal grand juries and other investigative bodies. She assists clients in responding to subpoenas, civil investigative demands (CIDs) and other inquiries from federal and state prosecutors.
Laura has conducted dozens of internal investigations and regularly advises clients on compliance issues across various industries.
On the civil side, Laura has litigated complex commercial disputes involving theft of trade secrets, civil RICO, commercial contracts, business torts, franchise law and gender-discrimination.
