Bob maintains a general health law practice focusing on the representation of hospitals, health systems, medical group practices and many other types of for-profit and tax-exempt health care businesses, both in Connecticut and nationally. He serves as outside general counsel for several hospitals and has significant experience in regulatory matters, governance, strategic planning, compliance, health information and technology, managed care contracting, reimbursement issues, contractual relationships with physicians and general contracting. Bob also represents clients in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and sales of non-profit assets and operations to for-profit companies.
Bob has an MPH in hospital administration, completed two hospital administrative fellowships and is a former vice president of the Yale Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Additionally, Bob frequently speaks and writes on a variety of health care topics and has taught at the University of Connecticut Graduate School of Business Administration.
