This session will address public private partnerships and design-build alternative procurement in Rhode Island. Nationally, many cities and towns are considering public-private partnerships (P3s) and non-traditional procurement for construction and development projects, including wastewater/water treatment, schools, rec centers and transportation projects. This workshop will explore the advantages of design-build and design-build-operate contracts and other types of P3 projects, and the potential for their use in Rhode Island.
