Dan will discuss “Medical Marijuana Business Taxation: Strategies to Overcome Current Difficulties.” This session covers business deductions and the Internal Revenue Code Section 280E, business diversification tactics, inventory capitalization strategies to reduce tax burdens, state medical marijuana taxes and ensuring correct calculations, and appropriate bookkeeping practices.
