PULSE: The Atlantic Summit on Health Care: “Aging in America”

Date:
Time: to

Hinckley Allen Partner Anne M. Murphy is speaking at The Atlantic’s Health Summit. During the “Aging in America” discussion, Anne and her fellow panelists will look at the impact of the baby boomer generation retiring, and what that means for preparedness of healthcare infrastructure and the burdens to the healthcare systems of an aging population, role of caregivers, and other resources. The panel will also focus on the social dimension.

Questions this panel will tackle:

  • How can our healthcare system best serve the fastest growing, largest and most vulnerable population?
  • Is America’s health infrastructure equipped to handle the ongoing retirement of the Baby Boomer generation?
  • How are innovators rethinking about caring for our aging population, current laws and initiatives that support our elderly (RAISE Act)?
  • What are the social dimensions of aging as people continue to pursue active lifestyles?
  • What are the implications of the longevity economy?
