WEBINAR: Foreign Influence in Academic Research – The Changing Landscape and Forecast for 2022

Date:
Time: to

On behalf of the Boston Bar Association’s Health Law Section, Research Misconduct & Integrity Chair Elizabeth J. McEvoy will be moderating an esteemed panel to discuss the new regulatory landscape and enforcement risks governing foreign collaborations in federally-sponsored academic research. From the BBA:

The goal of the program is to build upon our program in May 2021 and take a look at the federal government’s continued enforcement and review of foreign influence and foreign participation in US-based research.  We want to take a 360-degree view of the issues, including how high-profile enforcement actions have gone, how the DOJ/NIH are looking at these issues, how research institutions are handling these risks, and how universities and academic centers are addressing the increased scrutiny and risks, both internally and externally.
