Elizabeth McEvoy Recognized with Emerging Women Leaders in Law Award


Hinckley Allen is proud to announce that Elizabeth McEvoy has been named a recipient of the Emerging Women Leaders in Law Award by the Women’s Bar Association. The award honors women attorneys who have demonstrated professional excellence or had a significant professional achievement, while promoting the status of women in the legal profession or contributing meaningfully to equal participation of women in society. Elizabeth will be honored with her fellow award winners at the October 25, 2021 Gala in Boston, MA.

Serving as Counsel in Hinckley Allen’s Litigation group, Elizabeth launched the Research Misconduct & Integrity practice group, which focuses on a novel area of the law where white collar criminal defense, research compliance and health care practices meet. She has seen great success assisting institutions and researchers to navigate the legal complexities of this field.

Elizabeth is also leading by example for other women in the field, serving as a mentor and offering her time to further the careers of others across a variety of organizations. Most recently volunteering for the Women’s Bar Association’s Family Law Project, in which she represented women in domestic violence situations, and was selected to participate in the Women’s Leadership Initiative where she worked with a group to address obstacles and challenges faced by female attorneys during transitions and times of professional growth.
