Paul’s practice is focused on complex real estate matters. He represents major regional real estate developers and a number of national and regional financial institutions on such matters as acquisitions, sale leaseback transactions, commercial lease transactions, shopping center development, financing, acquisitions, joint ventures, real estate syndications, residential housing development and real estate workouts. Paul also has extensive experience drafting and negotiating commercial and industrial leases, ground leases, and leasehold mortgages. He has represented several municipalities in the area of land preservation and land use regulation including zoning, subdivision, wetlands and related regulations.

Strategic Consulting

Dispositions of two large (160- and 243-property) portfolios located throughout 12 states and comprised of more than 2.5 million square feet. These complex sale-leaseback portfolios sold to single investors for $280M and $320M respectively and contributed significant corporate accounting benefits for the client.
