$100,000,000 Multi-State Deferred Exchange Transaction

Hinckley Allen represented a large multifamily developer on a 4 property multi state I.R.S 1031 deferred exchange transaction involving property values in excess of one hundred million dollars. The transaction included the pre-sale by our client of properties being developed in exchange for existing properties. Our work included the drafting of multiple purchase and sale agreements which were conditioned upon each other including the assumption of existing debt. The transaction was mutually beneficial with each client satisfying its portfolio needs and our clients retaining property management of all properties.
