University Construction With Option to Purchase Conversion Project

Hinckley Allen represented a university in the negotiation of an option to lease and then purchase an office building, which included the negotiating of a complex construction contract to convert a tower office building into a residential dorm with a library and other amenities. The delivery of the completed construction was extremely time sensitive (with a very tight delivery schedule) and we required critical performance dates to insure the delivery of the dorms in time for the school year. The well conceived and carefully drafted documents facilitated a timely and smooth closing and a terrific result for our client.
