B. Stephanie Siegmann, chair of our Cybersecurity, Privacy & Data Protection Group and co-chair of our Artificial Intelligence Group, will moderate “No Reasonable Expectation? Privacy in Public Places” for the Boston Bar Association.
The panel will examine how license plate readers, drones, and networked cameras challenge traditional expectations of privacy, with a focus on Fourth Amendment protections and developments in Massachusetts law. Stephanie will guide the discussion, while the panelists also discuss how companies and police departments should govern the data they collect in public and what privacy professionals need to understand as these technologies reach their organizations.
