Environmental Business Council of New England: Coastal Resources Management Council Leadership Lunch

Christine Dieter, partner in the Litigation, Environmental, and Energy Practice Groups, will serve as the moderator for the upcoming “Coastal Resources Management Council Leadership Lunch,” hosted by the Rhode Island Chapter of the Environmental Business Council of New England. From the EBC:

The Coastal Resources Management Council (CRMC) is Rhode Island’s management, planning and regulatory agency responsible for the protection, preservation, development, and where possible, the restoration of the coastal areas of the state.This EBC Rhode Island Leadership program will provide an overview of the CRMC and its staff, including a presentation from CRMC Executive Director Jeffrey Willis, how it operates and renders decisions, various program initiatives, ongoing sponsored coastal zone research, and the unique decision-making process of the Council – which involves the input of public stakeholders.

Topics to be discussed will include: Federal and State Funding Sources, Coastal Resiliency, Shoreline Access, Offshore Wind Energy, Climate Change and Sea Level Rise, Dredging, Harbor, and Marina Management.
