B. Stephanie Siegmann, partner and co-chair of the Cybersecurity, Privacy & Data Protection Group, presented at District Attorney Marian Ryan’s Ransomware Response Conference in Lexington, MA. The conference brought together over 100 industry leaders from hospitals, schools, municipalities, and businesses to offer training on best practices for mitigating losses, addressing vulnerabilities, restoring operations, and strengthening security to prevent future attacks.
Stephanie’s presentation highlighted various steps to prevent cyberattacks and reduce liabilities from a data breach, including developing an Incident Response Plan and Incident Response Team.
