Hinckley Allen Expands Key Practices


Hinckley Allen announces the hiring of attorneys, Shera G. Golder, Ross A. Krajewski, Larry E. Grijalva and John M. Wilusz, expanding the Firm’s Trusts & Estates, Construction & Public Contracts and Litigation groups respectively.

Shera G. Golder has joined the Firm’s Trusts & Estates group as Counsel. Her practice includes estate planning and estate and probate administration. Shera has extensive experience designing and implementing multi-generational estate planning strategies for high net worth individuals and families. Shera drafts trusts, wills, powers of attorney and health care directives for clients in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Shera earned her J.D., cum laude, from Boston University School of Law. She is a member of the bar in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Shera will be based in the Firm’s Hartford office.

Ross A. Krajewski has also joined the Firm as Counsel in its Trusts & Estates group and will work out of its Providence, R.I. and Boston, MA offices. Ross advises individuals and families with respect to estate planning and tax matters. In this capacity, he works with clients in drafting and implementing estate planning documents and transfers, administering trusts and estates, and related tax matters. He also provides fiduciary and private client services, as well as advises fiduciaries on legal and tax matters including trust modification and compliance.

Ross was named a Super Lawyers “Rising Star,” in Massachusetts in 2020 and 2021. He earned a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School and a Bachelor of Science from Marquette University.

Larry E. Grijalva joins the Firm as an associate in its Construction & Public Contracts group in the firm’s Hartford, Conn. office. Prior to joining Hinckley Allen, Larry defended manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and medical device clients in product liability, class action, and other complex litigation in state and federal courts.

He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law and during law school was an active member of the Connecticut Moot Court Board. Larry also served as a student law intern for the University’s Tax Clinic, representing low-income taxpayers in federal tax disputes before the Internal Revenue Service and the United States Tax Court. Larry is both a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.

John M. Wilusz joins the litigation practice as an associate. John specializes in employment law litigation and represents civil defendants in federal and state courts in all stages of litigation. John also counsels employers on various labor and employment matters.

John is a cum laude graduate of Suffolk University Law School. As a law student, John was a staff member and editor of the Suffolk University Law Review. He is a member of the bar in Massachusetts, United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He was selected for the Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list in Massachusetts from 2015-2020. John will be based in Boston.
