PROVIDENCE, RI – Hinckley, Allen & Snyder LLP is pleased to announce that Rhode Island Family Court granted the Firm an official decree for its grant to the Rhode Island Friends of CASA through the Rhode Island Foundation.

The grant will allow the Rhode Island Friends of CASA to recruit, train and retain volunteers who provide a voice for the forgotten children who are in the care of the State of Rhode Island. The grant will also be used to provide funds to the Rhode Island Friends of CASA Dreams Come True Fund.

CASA is a statewide program dedicated to helping abused and neglected children find their way through the RI child welfare and family court systems to safe, loving, permanent homes. Because of the dedication of well-trained CASA volunteers, these children have an advocate to speak for their “best interests” in court.
