Partner Kathleen M. Mahan Appointed to New Hampshire Bar Association’s Special Committee on AI


Hinckley Allen is proud to announce that Kathleen M. Mahan, partner in the Litigation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Groups and immediate past president of the New Hampshire Bar Association, has been appointed to serve on the Association’s newly formed Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence.

The Committee will examine the impact of AI on the legal profession, providing Bar members with insights into its benefits and risks in the practice of law. It will also provide guidance on best practices for its use, with particular attention to issues of ethics, privacy, confidentiality, and quality control, as well as the implications of AI for training and mentoring the next generation of lawyers.

Kate’s appointment reflects her deep experience as a leader in the legal community. As past president of the New Hampshire Bar Association and a member of Hinckley Allen’s AI Practice, she continues to help shape thoughtful approaches to the evolving challenges and opportunities facing attorneys and their clients.
