Libbie Howley Joins Hinckley Allen’s Corporate & Business Practice As An Associate


Hinckley Allen is pleased to welcome Associate Libbie Howley to its Corporate & Business practice. Libbie was most recently an Associate at Bowditch & Dewey, LLP.

Libbie concentrates her practice in business and finance law including business planning, transactional matters, financing, corporate and regulatory compliance issues and business succession planning. She also has experience with commercial lending, restructuring and workouts. Recently, Libbie worked on several asset and stock sales involving a variety of manufacturing companies, liquor stores, fitness center and technology companies. Also notable, she handled the acquisition of a major Northeastern convenience store and gas station operator in a stock deal, including extensive due diligence.

Libbie earned her J.D. at Suffolk University, where she was active in her community. Libbie taught constitutional law to inner city high school students as a Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Fellow. She also participated in the Suffolk University Investor Advocacy Clinic assisting investors in understanding and asserting their rights. Libbie’s efforts did not go unnoticed as she received the faculty-awarded Leo J. Wyman Memorial Award for dedication to the advancement of the civic and professional responsibilities of a lawyer.
