Ronald D. Ciotti, a Partner in our Construction & Public Contracts practice has been named Chair of the Associated General Contractors of America’s Contract Documents Forum (CDF), where he previously served a three year term as Vice Chair. The AGC’s CDF is recognized as the leader in providing and continually improving upon balanced contract documents for the construction industry. The forum consists of over 600 members from over 40 leading associations in the design and construction industry. The group works together to develop standard contracts that incorporate best practices and fairly allocate risk to help reduce costly contingencies and adversarial negotiations. These documents are available through ConsensusDocs, the second largest and second best-selling family of form construction contract documents in the nation.

Ron’s active involvement in the construction industry allows him to offer his legal expertise directly with those impacted by the important and ever-evolving issues including owner needs, market trends, industry best practices, and legislation. As a result, he has become a leading voice in the construction industry, and is a nationally-recognized speaker for his presentations on a myriad of topics on behalf of over 50 different organizations, including the AGC.
