Charles P. Gallagher Jr. is a law clerk in Hinckley Allen’s Construction & Public Contracts Group. Before beginning his legal career, Charles spent more than 15 years working in the construction industry, giving him firsthand knowledge of the people, projects, and practical challenges that shape the industry.
Charles supports the firm’s attorneys in representing owners, contractors, subcontractors, and other construction industry clients. His experience spans legal research, drafting, and litigation support, and he approaches each matter with an understanding of both the legal issues and the realities of construction projects.
While earning his J.D. at New England Law | Boston, Charles completed judicial internships with the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, where he researched and drafted judicial orders across a wide range of complex civil and criminal matters. He also interned with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, and a litigation firm, gaining experience in legal research, motion practice, and trial preparation.
