Olaleye Onikuyide advises developers and property owners on complex real estate transactions and disputes, bringing a distinctive perspective shaped by his background in housing policy, land use, and civil litigation. He combines rigorous legal analysis with practical, forward-thinking counsel designed to anticipate challenges before they arise.
Before joining Hinckley Allen as a real estate attorney, Olaleye served as a Term Clerk to The Honorable Robert A. Richardson in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, where he gained firsthand exposure to federal litigation and honed his research and analytical skills across a broad range of matters. This experience deepened his understanding of how proactive legal strategy can prevent costly disputes.
Olaleye’s connection with Hinckley Allen began as a legal intern in 2018, where he supported partners on real estate transactions and client matters. He returned to the firm as a summer associate in 2022, deepening his expertise and strengthening the relationships he had cultivated during his earlier tenure. He also brings experience from the Connecticut General Assembly, where he served as a Governmental Relations Sessional Aide tracking legislation, and from a regional litigation firm where he worked as a summer associate.
Beyond his practice, Olaleye is committed to keeping Connecticut communities affordable and accessible. He focuses his civic engagement on housing, infrastructure, and amplifying resident voices, an extension of his belief that lasting success is built on listening and collaboration.
