Rachel concentrates her practice in the areas of construction, complex commercial litigation, and creditors’ rights.
She represents general contractors, specialty contractors, and other construction industry stakeholders in a variety of general construction and construction-related matters, including contract negotiation, contract disputes, construction litigation, bid protests, mechanic’s liens, Prompt Pay Act claims, and more.
Rachel also represents and advises companies dealing with trade partner or borrower bankruptcies, whether they are filing claims against a debtor’s estate, objecting to discharge or plan confirmation, or defending against claim objections or adversary proceedings. Her creditors’ rights practice also extends to representing lenders seeking to mitigate risk or enforce rights and remedies with respect to borrower defaults.
Rachel is experienced in litigating before state and federal courts and agencies, as well as in alternative dispute resolution through mediation and arbitration, including before the American Arbitration Association.
