Manage Litigation To Be Cost-Effective


A recent Superior Court action concerning a project at Logan Airport involved the relationships between sub-subcontractors and payment bond sureties, and the general contractor which was the principal on the payment bond. The case involved a project which was not a public construction project. A sub-subcontractor had not been paid by the subcontractor with which it had a contract. Accordingly, the sub-subcontractor filed an action against the payment bond surety together with the principal (the general contractor) of the payment bond. (more)
