Former National Security Chief, Litigation Partner B. Stephanie Siegmann, evaluated the Trump indictment and shared her insight and experience prosecuting and supervising national security investigations.
She notes that one of the biggest challenges for the government will be proving intent and outlined critical pieces of the indictment, including “pairing” the national security charges with obstruction of justice allegations, which “could prove a powerful combination at trial”.
