- Massachusetts law applies to workers whose employer is based in Massachusetts, even if they work remotely from a different state.
- Non-retaliation provisions of the state anti-discrimination statute apply even to workers who don’t fall within a protected category.
- A change in an employee’s position that results in a raise does not preclude a claim that the change was discriminatory.
