Hinckley Allen Accelerates Growth with Addition of Corporate Partner Jack Anetakis

Hinckley Allen is pleased to announce that Jack Anetakis has joined the firm as a Partner in its Corporate & Business Transactions Practice Group. Based in the Boston office, Jack brings over two decades of experience advising financial institutions, lenders, and developers on sophisticated commercial finance and real estate transactions.

“Jack is a top-of-the-market finance lawyer.  His relationships and deep understanding of the commercial and real estate lending market will be a tremendous resource for Hinckley Allen and our clients,” said Patrick A. Rogers, Managing Partner at Hinckley Allen. “We are thrilled to welcome Jack to the firm as we continue to enhance our finance, corporate, and real estate capabilities to meet increased client demand throughout New England and nationally.”

Jack added, “What attracted me to Hinckley Allen was the people and the culture. I’ve focused on helping lenders and developers close deals efficiently and effectively throughout my career. Having worked with Hinckley Allen attorneys, I know the firm shares a similar focus in an extremely collaborative environment. I’m excited to contribute that experience to a firm that is growing with purpose and integrity. It just felt like the right fit—professionally and personally.”

Jack’s practice covers various finance-related matters, including asset-based lending, corporate and industrial finance, commercial real estate, affordable housing, and renewable energy projects. His extensive background also encompasses real estate development, leasing, permitting, and power purchase agreements, particularly in renewable energy. His business-oriented approach is shaped by his prior roles as in-house counsel to a real estate developer and founding partner of a boutique firm.

Prior to joining Hinckley Allen, Jack was a Partner at Sherin and Lodgen LLP and previously served as General Counsel to a national real estate developer. He holds degrees from Vanderbilt University (B.A.), West Virginia University College of Law (J.D.), and Boston University School of Law (LL.M.).

Hinckley Allen remains committed to strategic growth by adding exceptional lateral talent and expanding its capabilities in response to evolving client needs.

Jack’s arrival reflects Hinckley Allen’s ongoing strategic growth across practices and markets. Over the past two years, the firm expanded in all core practice areas—Corporate, Real Estate, Litigation, Construction, and Trusts & Estates. It opened two new offices: one in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and another serving the St. Louis Metro / Madison County, Illinois region. The firm now operates eight offices across seven states.
