Hinckley Allen Earns Worksite Health Award for Commitment to Employee Health and Well-being

Hinckley Allen was recognized on December 22, 2021 with a Superior Worksite Health Award from Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island (BCBSRI) and the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce (the Chamber) for effective programs encouraging employee health and well-being in a meaningful way.

We are very proud to have our team’s efforts in promoting employee health and wellness recognized,” said David J. Rubin, Managing Partner at Hinckley Allen. “Promoting and enhancing the wellbeing and wellness of our people is a top priority for Hinckley Allen and allows us to attract and retain the best talent possible to provide outstanding service to our clients.

The 27th Annual Worksite Health Awards celebrate companies that prioritize employee wellness. Hinckley Allen was one of more than 30 Rhode Island-based businesses honored by BCBSRI and the Chamber in recognition of their continued efforts to advance employee wellness and build a healthier Rhode Island.

The Worksite Health Awards are an opportunity for employers to learn from best practices while showcasing the advances being made every day to improve the health and well-being of Rhode Islanders at work. In this year’s awards, companies were once again recognized for their support of employees’ physical and emotional well-being during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. With so many still working remotely, there continues to be a heightened priority on connecting with employees through new and innovative wellness offerings.

Hinckley Allen is dedicated to providing programming and assistance to employees across a variety of wellness areas, including, mental health, financial health, healthy eating habits, and stress management. In particular, the firm has focused significant effort and resources on the transition back to in-person working, identifying ways in which to decrease stress and anxiety caused by the pandemic and resulting changes to work lives.

2021 marks the 18th year Hinckley Allen has received a Worksite Health Award. Since 1995, the awards have recognized businesses of all sizes headquartered in Rhode Island that demonstrate exceptional health and wellness programs and health-oriented workplace policies.
