Andrea Gomes has joined Hinckley Allen as an associate in the firm’s real estate group. Andrea joins the firm’s Hartford office from Shipman & Goodwin, LLP, where she focused on land use permitting and litigation, environmental and municipal law. She has worked with a wide range of clients in obtaining municipal land use approvals, prosecuting or defending administrative appeals, and in litigating various matters, including affordable housing matters, property disputes, and eminent domain actions. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers^® “Ones to Watch” and Super Lawyers “Rising Star.”

Andrea earned a B.A., with honors, from New York University and a J.D. from the University of Connecticut Law School. She is admitted in Connecticut and the U.S. District Court for Connecticut.
