Hinckley Allen is pleased to announce that Tara Singh has been selected as the recipient of the 2026 Rising Star Award from the South Asian Bar Association of North America (SABA NA). This national recognition celebrates emerging leaders who are making a meaningful impact on the legal profession and their communities. A partner in the firm’s Litigation and White Collar & Government Enforcement Groups, Tara has built a reputation as a skilled advocate and trusted advisor in complex litigation, internal investigations, and high-stakes regulatory matters.
Central to the recognition is Tara’s dedication to creating opportunities for others and strengthening the South Asian legal community through mentorship, leadership, and service. In 2026, she was elected Co-President of the South Asian Bar Association of Greater Boston (SABA GB), following years of service to the organization. Her leadership journey within SABA GB includes service on the organization’s Mentorship Committee, where she played a key role in expanding the mentorship program to include early-career attorneys; election to its Board of Directors in 2023; and subsequent roles as Treasurer and Executive Committee member in 2025.
As Co-President, Tara is expanding mentorship, professional development, and community-building initiatives for South Asian attorneys throughout Greater Boston. In this role, she has spearheaded a new initiative connecting newly elevated partners with senior practitioners to foster candid conversations about leadership, business development, and long-term career success.
Beyond her work with SABA GB, Tara is an active leader throughout the legal community. She serves in various leadership roles with the Boston Bar Association and the Women’s White Collar Defense Association, and as a faculty member of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, where she was recently selected for its NextGen Class of 2026.
“I am incredibly grateful to receive this recognition from SABA North America,” said Tara. “The SABA community has played a meaningful role in my career, and it has been an honor to lead the organization as Co-President this year. Through mentorship, professional development, and community-building, we are creating opportunities for attorneys at every stage of their careers. I am sincerely grateful to the colleagues and mentors who have championed me throughout my journey, and to Hinckley Allen for its unwavering support of both me and my work with these outstanding organizations.”
The SABA North America Rising Star Award was presented during the organization’s Annual Conference in San Diego in June 2026.
