Alexandra is a Partner in Hinckley Allen’s Construction & Public Contracts and Senior Living groups. She concentrates her practice in the areas of construction, complex commercial litigation, and insurance.
Alexandra represents clients on matters ranging from general construction and construction-related claims to complex Consumer Protection Act cases, including those arising out of allegations of unfair and deceptive acts under G.L. c. 93A and R.S.A. 358-A. She has represented clients in matters involving building code violations, negligent design and construction claims, breaches of the implied warranty of habitability, breaches of contract, DBE investigations, violations of the Prompt Pay Act, wrongful termination claims, bid protests, and product liability claims. She works with clients in various industries, including sewage, commercial contracting, vertical and horizontal construction, and residential construction.
Alexandra regularly counsels clients on matters of insurance coverage and best practices for insuring compliance with Federal guidelines for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) and the Massachusetts Prompt Pay Act.
Alexandra has successfully represented clients in multiple jury and jury-waived trials in the Superior Court and before panels of arbitrators. She has also drafted appellate briefs to the Massachusetts Court of Appeals, the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
