David’s practice focuses on litigation, representing clients in state and federal courts, in addition to alternative dispute resolution, including both mediation and arbitration. He has represented individuals, corporations, municipalities and government entities in a variety of civil and criminal matters, including commercial lease disputes, landlord-tenant, commercial and residential construction disputes, environmental contamination of real property, declaratory judgment actions involving insurance coverage and contract interpretation, shareholder disputes, theft of trade secrets, data security, identity theft, eminent domain, federal sentencing, cooperation agreements, and government and corporate internal investigations.  He has tried cases to both judgment and verdict.  He has represented clients before a variety of state administrative agencies, including the Office of State Ethics, the Department of Motor Vehicles, the Department of Consumer Protection, the Department of Environmental Protection, the Department of Public Health and the Connecticut Insurance Department.

David provides legal services to the Greater Hartford Community Foundation, a non-profit corporation which operates the Travelers Championship, an annual PGA TOUR event in Cromwell, Connecticut. He works regularly with the Foundation to address issues such as risk management, data security, contract drafting and negotiations involving vendors, sponsors and talent such as celebrities and entertainers. David previously served as legal counsel to the Bristol Downtown Development Corporation (the “BDDC”), a non-profit corporation created by the City of Bristol to oversee a downtown revitalization project for the City of Bristol. He was responsible for all BDDC legal work related to Connecticut DECD funding, agreements with private developers, and relations with the Mayor’s office and all other city agencies.
