Lynn E. Riley

PartnerProvidence

Lynn Riley is an estate planning attorney advising individuals, business owners, professionals, and families on wealth preservation and charitable giving. Employing sophisticated planning techniques and tools, Lynn helps clients minimize gift, estate, and income taxes while ensuring assets are passed to future generations in ways that align with their wishes. She has considerable experience structuring inter-generational asset transfers and planning for generation-skipping and income taxes. Additionally, Lynn counsels clients on retirement and elder law, business succession planning, and asset protection matters.

Lynn represents executors and trustees across all aspects of estate and trust administration, securing Superior Court approvals for trust accountings, modifications, and terminations. She also has extensive experience handling guardianship and conservatorship matters before the Probate Courts.

When individuals and corporate fiduciaries need to navigate disputes, Lynn works closely with the firm’s Litigation group to handle probate, guardianship, and trust proceedings involving fiduciary liability, will contests, and accountings.

Before joining Hinckley Allen, Lynn was a partner and the Chairperson of an estate planning group in a boutique law firm.
