B. Stephanie Siegmann, partner, chair of the International Trade & National Security and Cybersecurity, Privacy & Data Protection Groups, and co-chair of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Practice, will serve as a keynote lunch panelist at SecureWorld Boston. Stephanie also serves on SecureWorld’s Advisory Council.

Stephanie will join Jared Rinehimer, Chief of the Privacy and Responsible Technology Division at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, and Brian Levine, former cybercrime prosecutor with the DOJ’s Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section and National Coordinator for over 300 federal cybercrime prosecutors around the country, for a panel titled “The Intersection of Cyber Incident Response, Regulatory Compliance, and Enforcement in a Rapidly Evolving Threat Environment.”

The panel will cover:

  • Emerging cyber threats and attack vectors driven by foreign state actors leveraging AI tools
  • Effective incident response strategies
  • Mitigating criminal and civil liability under federal and state laws
  • The increasing use of the False Claims Act to target cybersecurity noncompliance
  • Regulatory hot spots and enforcement trends
