Hinckley Allen is pleased to announce that Thomas Banas, attorney in the firm’s construction and public contracts practice group, has been named Emerging Leader of the Year by the Associated Builders and Contractors of Connecticut.
In his role at Hinckley Allen, Tom represents general contractors, subcontractors, construction managers, owners, suppliers, and developers across a broad spectrum of construction-related matters, including mediations, arbitrations, and complex litigation. His practice encompasses the drafting and negotiation of construction and service contracts, resolution of bidding disputes, payment matters, bond claims, and mechanic’s liens.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Tom has demonstrated a strong commitment to community engagement and industry leadership. He has served as a dedicated member and leader within ABC’s Emerging Leaders Group, contributing to the program’s direction and growth. He is also an active member of a YMCA board and the AGC Leadership Committee.
