Chad is a construction litigator known for his business-focused, strategic approach to construction law. Clients appreciate his agility, commercial sensibility, and problem-solving nature as he provides comprehensive strategic advice across infrastructure and commercial projects, both horizontal and vertical.

From bidding and procurement through contract negotiation, claims administration, claims preparation and submission, and risk mitigation, Chad works closely with clients to protect their interests at every stage. Should disputes escalate and litigation become necessary, he is a vigorous advocate with experience on many of the most sophisticated cases in the region, including bet-the-company litigation with hundreds of millions of dollars at stake. He is a thoroughly prepared and savvy champion in federal and state courts, and in arbitration.

Chad’s work spans major transportation and utility infrastructure, high-rise commercial buildings, hospital complexes, housing developments, and other complex assets for design-build contractors, construction managers, general contractors, public and private owners, developers, and specialty subcontractors.
