Chad’s practice is focused on complex construction disputes and commercial/business litigation. He represents design-build contractors, construction managers, general contractors, public and private owners, developers and specialty subcontractors on a wide variety of matters. His extensive experience in federal and state court, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution extends to bidding disputes, payment issues, delay claims, design and engineering errors and omissions, construction defects, defaults, bond claims, mechanic’s liens and wrongful terminations, among other issues. This experience has included bet-the-company litigation and cases with hundreds of millions of dollars in dispute. Chad routinely advises clients on best practices to avoid and resolve litigation at an early stage, when possible, and to strategically and effectively prepare and present claims and defenses, when necessary.
