Rebecca F. Briggs

As a member of the Litigation group, Becca concentrates her practice on complex business litigation with a particular focus on intellectual property disputes. She litigates matters including patent, trade secret, copyright, and trademark suits. Becca also has extensive experience litigating an array of commercial matters, including contract disputes and employment law issues. Becca routinely represents parties in non-compete and employment discrimination cases in federal and state courts and agencies.

Becca has experience in all phases of litigation, starting with initial investigation and pre-suit advice and resolution. She has argued dispositive motions and tried cases to verdict and through appeal. Her practice encompasses strategic advice and counsel to clients on labor and employment concerns as well as issues involving intellectual property and proprietary information. In addition, her time working in-house at a large health care company provides Becca with unique insight into practical business concerns.
