Hinckley Allen Welcomes Seven Attorneys to the Firm


Hinckley Allen is pleased to welcome the following attorneys to Hinckley Allen: Shasky L. Clarke, Lisa M. DeFronzo, Nicholas A. Denice, Amanda A. Garganese, Richard A. Goulding, III, Gina K. Kim, and Jenna M. Montesano.

Shasky L. Clarke

CORPORATE & BUSINESS

Shasky is a recent graduate of Harvard Law School, where he was a Staff Editor for the Journal of Sports and Entertainment. Shasky was a Summer Associate with Hinckley Allen in 2017, where he gained hands-on experience supporting a variety of practice groups. Prior to Hinckley Allen, he worked at a myriad of non-profit and corporate organizations such as Living Proof, Inc., Boston Beer Company, Nashville Predators, and Yale School of Medicine.

Prior to law school, Shasky earned his B.A. at Yale University, where he was involved in the Yale Entrepreneurial Society and the Yale Daily News as a Business Analyst.

Lisa M. DeFronzo

REAL ESTATE

Lisa is a recent graduate of the University of New Hampshire (UNH) School of Law, where she was a Daniel Webster Scholar and a Senior Editor of the UNH Law Review. In 2017, Lisa was a Summer Associate with Hinckley Allen, where she gained hands-on experience supporting a variety of practice groups. Prior to her experience at Hinckley Allen, Lisa held internships at the New Hampshire Supreme Court, and the New Hampshire Department of Justice for the Attorney General’s Office.

Prior to law school, Lisa was a Paralegal at the Chamber Law Office, and a file clerk at Brown Rudnick, LLP. She earned her B.A. at Suffolk University, graduating magna cum laude.

Nicholas A. Denice

CORPORATE & BUSINESS

Nick practices in general corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and corporate governance. He is a certified public accountant, a certified fraud examiner, and has represented companies in all stages of business including emerging and developing companies, established private middle-market businesses, and public companies. Nick maintains his membership with various industry organizations, such as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Corporate Directors. He regularly speaks about legal tax issues, trends, and topics.

Nick earned his J.D. at the Roger Williams University School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude. He is also a graduate of Bryant University, where he earned an MPAc and a B.S.B.A.. Nick serves on the Board of Directors at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island, and the Board of Governors of the Catholic Foundation of Rhode Island.

Amanda A. Garganese

LITIGATION

Prior to Hinckley Allen, Amanda worked at the Rhode Island Supreme Court as a Chamber Clerk for the Honorable Maureen McKenna Goldberg, The Honorable William P. Robinson, III, as well as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Trial Court Law Clerk Department.

Amanda earned her J.D. at the Roger Williams University School of Law, magna cum laude. She earned her B.A. at Providence College, where she was a part of the Gamma Kappa Alpha Honor Society and was a Staff Writer at the Cowl Newspaper. In her free time, Amanda is an active member of the American Cancer Society, and the Rhode Island Bar Association.

Richard A. Goulding, III

CORPORATE & BUSINESS

Rick joins Hinckley Allen from the Publicis Groupe, where he was Legal Counsel from 2017-2018. Prior, he worked at Sullivan & Worcester LLP as an Associate. During law school, he worked at Sullivan & Worcester LLP as Law Clerk, Summer Associate, and Paralegal. He also worked at the White House as the Intern to the National Economic Council.

Rick earned his J.D. at Suffolk University Law School, receiving the Legal Practice Skills Best Oral Advocate Award, as well as the Distinguished Legal Brief Writing Award. He earned his B.A. at Boston College, and graduated from Boston College High School (BCH), where he serves as an active alumnus.

Gina K. Kim

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Gina’s practice is focused on intellectual property. She represents clients and provides counsel in patent litigation matters in the electrical and chemical arts, focusing on website, software, and business method technology. Gina previously worked at Fish & Richardson, P.C. as a Staff Attorney in their Dallas office.

Gina earned her J.D. at the University of Georgia School of Law, cum laude, where she was the Senior Articles Editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law, and her B.S.E. at Princeton University.

Jenna M. Montesano

REAL ESTATE

Jenna’s practice involves a broad range of real estate, land use, and business matters, representing various corporate and real estate clients in loan, refinancing, and recapitalization transactions. She also represents clients in all aspects of the development approval process including due diligence review, planning and zoning applications, and other aspects of complex land use and zoning matters.

Jenna graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law, with honors. While in law school, Jenna co-authored adopted zoning regulations for the City of Hartford. In addition to her legal affiliations, she is donates her time doing pro bono work as a dedicated member of the Lawyers for Children America.
