Jorie Andrews, Partner in the Real Estate practice group, will be join a panel of experienced women attorneys from the areas of criminal, family, employment, transactional, litigation, and workers’ compensation practices, who will share their stories. The moderated discussion, presented by the Women in the Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, will focus on the experiences of women attorneys in Connecticut and will highlight the different challenges and opportunities which are unique to women attorneys. The discussion will focus on striving for work-life balance, advocating for self in the legal work force, finding mentorship opportunities, dealing with unconscious bias, marketing opportunities which are different for women, and innate skills that women bring to the practice of law that give them advantages.
