Hinckley Allen Expands Its Litigation, Construction, and Real Estate Practices


Hinckley Allen continues to grow its legal team with the addition of six talented individuals in the Litigation, Construction, and Real Estate practice groups. Our new talent exemplifies our commitment to providing our clients with strategic solutions, value, and success — building upon the expertise, size, and experience of our practice groups to solve challenges and achieve results.

Kylie M. Huff joins as an Associate in the Litigation Practice Group in our Hartford, CT office. She previously worked at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York. Kylie brings experience representing corporations in complex litigation before state and federal courts, as well as arbitration tribunals. Additionally, Kylie brings experience navigating anti-corruption matters and representing clients in significant bankruptcy proceedings. Kylie earned a B.A. in Government and Legal Studies from Bowdoin College and a J.D. from Rutgers Law School. 

Isha Kumar returns to the firm in our Boston office as a Law Clerk and participant in the Hinckley Allen Assignment Pool (HAAP) program. HAAP is designed to provide an immersive hands-on experience across the full scope of practices at the firm. Isha previously served as a Summer Associate for the firm in 2022. She earned a B.A. in Economics, Politics, Philosophy, and Law from Binghamton University and a J.D. from the Boston University School of Law. She also worked as a student attorney for the Boston University School of Law Compliance Policy Clinic. 

Tyler R. Martin joins as an Associate in the Litigation Practice Group in our Providence, RI office. He previously worked as a Law Clerk in the Rhode Island Superior Court for the Honorable Brian P. Stern and the Rhode Island Supreme Court for the Honorable Erin Lynch Prata. Tyler earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Johnson & Wales and a J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law. 

Mackenzie C. McBurney joins as an Associate in the Litigation Practice Group in our Providence, RI office. Mackenzie brings clerking experience from the highest levels of state and federal appellate courts, including serving as a Law Clerk at the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit for the Honorable Lara E. Montecalvo, and at the Rhode Island Supreme Court for the Honorable Erin Lynch Prata and the Honorable Maureen McKenna Goldberg. Mackenzie earned a B.A. in Politics and Communication from Fairfield University and a J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law. 

Andrew R. Morin joins as an Associate in the Real Estate Practice Group in our Hartford, CT office. Before joining Hinckley Allen, Andrew served as an Associate at Halloran Sage and focused his practice on Land Use and Environmental law. Andrew provided counsel to his clients throughout the various phases of the land use administrative application process, and collaborated with engineers, environmental consultants, and municipal staff to prepare property development applications. He earned a B.A. in Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island and a J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law. 

Merredith A. Young joins as a Law Clerk in the Construction & Public Contracts Practice Group in our Manchester, NH office. Merredith previously served as a Rule 36 intern at the New Hampshire Public Defender’s Office. She earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice from the State University of New York at – Potsdam and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.
