The legislation reveals changes to wage transparency requirements, employment promissory notes, service contract worker retention requirements, construction contractor changes, payroll disclosures, workplace accommodations, and other employer obligations. With most provisions taking effect in October 2026 or early to mid-2027, the window for compliance preparation is narrow.
