BERLIN — The $70 million high school renovation project can proceed as planned, despite worries caused by high bids for the first phase of the project, the council decided Tuesday.
A cost reduction of the expensive mechanical and engineering systems for the project is likely if the town hires an independent expert to check the final construction plans, an attorney hired by the town reported to the council.
