Dan’s practice is focused on real estate matters with special emphasis on land use law including zoning, subdivision, wetlands and related regulations. He has represented major New England and national real estate developers, construction companies, gasoline retailers and national drug store retailers on land use matters as well as the acquisition, development and financing of commercial office projects, shopping centers, residential subdivisions and planned unit and condominium developments, including end sales on behalf of developers. Throughout his career, Dan has continuously been recognized as a top rated lawyer in land use and zoning, an honor given by his peers and coworkers through American Lawyer Media, Martindale-Hubbel, and more.

Serving as Board Chair and Legal Counsel to the PGA TOUR’s Travelers Championship, Dan has been a key player in the tournament’s success for over 53 years. His notable achievements include negotiating agreements with the PGA TOUR and securing Title Sponsor agreements with major companies like Canon USA, Buick, and Travelers. Beyond his legal contributions, Dan is a speaker at Connecticut Bar Association CLE and Section meetings, where he shares his expertise on drafting and negotiating title sponsor agreements, showcasing his significant impact on the renowned PGA signature event’s continued success through 2030.
