Hinckley Allen Accelerates Growth with Partner and Counsel Elevations for 2026

Hinckley Allen is pleased to announce that Janelle A. Pelli has been elevated to Partner and Seta Accaoui has been elevated to Counsel, both effective January 1, 2026. These promotions reflect the firm’s sustained growth over the past year and its ongoing investment in talent, leadership, and strategic expansion.

“Janelle and Seta are exceptional attorneys whose promotions reflect both their individual achievements and the broader momentum of the firm,” said Patrick A. Rogers, Managing Partner. “Over the past year, Hinckley Allen has invested significantly in its platform through strategic lateral hires and internal promotions, strengthening key practices and positioning the firm for continued growth. Janelle and Seta exemplify the depth of talent and leadership that will continue to drive the firm forward.”

Janelle A. Pelli represents clients in complex civil disputes in state and federal courts nationwide. Her practice encompasses business and contract disputes, fraud and business torts, employment litigation, and government and internal investigations. She serves clients across a range of industries, including construction, healthcare, biotechnology, financial services, and the public sector.

Janelle was a key member of the Hinckley Allen litigation team that secured a historic $34.5 million recovery for a client in a landmark Sarbanes-Oxley whistleblower retaliation case, one of the largest recoveries of its kind ever documented. She is also an active member of the firm’s Labor & Employment team, advising employers on compliance and workplace disputes. Earlier in her career, Janelle served as a law clerk to the Honorable Mae A. D’Agostino of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York.

Seta Accaoui focuses her practice on complex business and commercial litigation, including product liability, toxic tort, asbestos, talc, and benzene matters, as well as insurance defense. She represents manufacturers, premises owners, and other businesses in high-stakes litigation in both state and federal courts.

Seta serves as national coordinating counsel and regional trial counsel for a leading products manufacturer and has extensive experience managing complex litigation portfolios from pre-suit through trial and resolution. Her practice also includes commercial landlord-tenant disputes, premises liability matters, fiduciary duty claims, and advising financial institutions on state and federal banking issues.

These elevations build on a year of consistent growth and strategic investment across Hinckley Allen’s platform. Over the past six months, the firm has welcomed nine new attorneys, including three partners, one counsel, and five associates, across its Albany, Boston, Hartford, and Providence offices. This continued expansion strengthens core practices in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and complex litigation, and reflects the firm’s long-term commitment to deepening capabilities in areas of increasing client demand.
