Hinckley Allen is pleased to announce that Jason Casey has joined the firm’s Boston office as a Partner in its Litigation, White Collar & Government Enforcement, and International Trade & National Security practice groups.
Jason joins the firm from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts, where he served as Deputy Chief of the National Security Unit and led high-profile investigations and prosecutions involving cyber intrusions, economic espionage, terrorism, export control violations, and fraud. Drawing on nearly a dozen years of government service, Jason brings a deep understanding of how complex, high-stakes cases are developed and tried.
“Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of handling many sophisticated, high-stakes matters, many under intense scrutiny, where thoughtful strategy and sound judgment are critical,” said Jason. “I look forward to leveraging that experience to deliver exceptional results for the firm’s clients.”
Jason’s experience includes nationally significant prosecutions involving the unauthorized disclosure of classified national defense information, international sanctions evasion schemes tied to foreign governments, and novel trade secret and cybersecurity matters. He has led more than a dozen jury trials and coordinated across agencies at the highest levels of federal enforcement.
“Jason brings a rare combination of courtroom experience and white collar and national security insight,” said Patrick A. Rogers, Managing Partner at Hinckley Allen. “He has handled matters that require not just technical skill, but sound judgment under pressure, and that perspective strengthens our ability to advise clients facing their most consequential legal challenges.”
Before joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Jason served in the Homicide Prosecution Unit of the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, where he prosecuted homicide cases and argued appeals before the New Hampshire Supreme Court.
Jason’s arrival reflects the firm’s continued strategic growth. In recent months, Hinckley Allen has welcomed Linda J. Cohen (Health Care), Christopher D. Romeo (Intellectual Property), Christopher H. Suh (Trusts & Estates), Madeine M. Ursini (Corporate & Business Transactions), and welcomed back Steven D. Catanach (Real Estate).
