Robert L. Harris Named as Chief Practice Group Management Officer


Hinckley Allen is pleased to announce the promotion of Robert L. Harris to the new position of Chief Practice Group Management Officer, effective January 2023. Robert previously served as the firm’s Chief Talent Officer.

As Chief Practice Group Management Officer, Robert will work closely with Hinckley Allen’s Executive Committee and Practice Group Leaders to drive the firm’s strategic goals and objectives, including recruiting, business development, and talent management.

“Robert is a skilled professional with significant experience leading teams, driving change, and promoting innovation. We are thrilled with his elevation to this new position,” said Patrick A. Rogers, Managing Partner.

Robert earned his B.A. from Swarthmore College and his J.D. from Boston University School of Law. He spent more than ten years as a practicing attorney in commercial litigation at Brown Rudnick before transitioning to administration; he joined Hinckley Allen in 2013 as the Director of Professional Development. In addition to his work at the firm, Robert has served as the Chair of the Massachusetts Board of Bar Examiners and is a trustee of the Boston Collegiate Charter School.
