Jack is a seasoned corporate lawyer with more than three decades of experience. He is known for navigating clients through complex transactions, and is consistently recognized as a leader in the mergers and acquisitions field. In addition, Jack’s expertise covers the areas of venture capital financing, private equity, technology transactions, and capital markets.
Throughout his legal career, Jack has provided counsel on the formation, financing, acquisition, and operation of companies in the technology, internet/media, e-sports, telecommunications, clean tech, manufacturing, life sciences, financial services, healthcare, real estate and services industries.
Jack also works with clients in connection with a wide variety of corporate matters that include: SEC reporting and compliance; risk assessment and compliance programs; supply, distribution, license, service, and joint venture relationships; employment and compensation arrangements; shareholder challenges; internal investigations; and corporate governance matters.
Jack’s experience in sports and entertainment is diverse. His projects have included representing the winning bidder for a Major League Baseball franchise, negotiating contracts for professional hockey players, assisting with the financing for a pro football stadium, engaging in strategic endeavors involving European soccer teams, and representing assorted gaming and NIL companies. Presently, he acts as outside counsel for Hard Carry Gaming (dba NRG), a prominent gaming and entertainment company and the owner of multiple professional e-sports teams.
