Janelle Pelli is an associate with the Litigation group at Hinckley Allen who represents clients in civil commercial litigation across the country. Janelle sits in our Albany, New York office. Janelle’s client’s include companies and individuals in construction, healthcare, banking, securities, government, research institutions, and private businesses.
Janelle is a member of our Labor & Employment Practice Group, frequently handling matters brought under Title VII, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the New York State Human Rights Law, and the New York City Human Rights Law, as well as disputes concerning employment agreements, non-competes, cybersecurity, discrimination, and NLRB claims. Janelle is also experienced in white-collar defense and investigations, and has skillfully represented clients in investigations by state and federal agencies, including in financial crimes and claims brought under the False Claims Act.
As a valued member of the litigation team, Janelle leverages her knowledge of the law and her cases to effectively represent clients. Her advocacy and collaborative approach provide essential support to clients in their time of need.
Janelle is admitted to practice in New York and before the United States Court of Federal Claims and the United States District Court for the Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts of New York. Her vast knowledge and experience helps to ensure her clients receive exceptional representation in their legal matters.
Before joining Hinckley Allen, Janelle served as a law clerk for the Honorable Mae D’Agostino in the Northern District of New York, where she provided invaluable support in civil and criminal cases.

She also serves as co-chair of the Equal Opportunity in the Profession committee for the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York. Janelle is a member of the CLE committee and First Decade committee of the Federal Court Bar Association – Northern District of New York chapter and has moderated several CLEs in upstate New York. She also volunteers her time with Adirondack Women’s Bar Association’s monthly domestic violence legal clinic and The Legal Project’s immigration clinic.
Janelle serves on the Lake George Land Conservancy’s NextGeneration Committee, a volunteer group of individuals who are passionate about protecting and preserving the lake, land, and surrounding communities.
