Jared L. Shwartz


Jared advises businesses on a wide variety of matters, including governance, entity choice and formation, mergers and acquisitions, contract and financing negotiations, and related transactions. Jared provides strategic advice and guidance to clients on legal issues arising in day-to-day business operations. In addition to this work with the corporate group, he is a member of the firm’s healthcare industry group. In this capacity he counsels industry clients, which include health care systems, senior living operators, physicians and physician groups, dental practices, and veterinary clinics, on transactional and regulatory matters and is a trusted advisor on these issues.

Prior to attending law school, Jared worked in the field of elder care administration and operations at an Assisted Living and Specialized Care Residence in the Greater Boston area. He currently serves on the board of directors for Nurse Practitioners Associates for Continuing Education (NPACE) and Camp Bauercest, and recently joined the Governance and Nominating Committee of Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston.
