  • Successfully negotiated settlement in case of non-payment due to a business email compromise incident. Demonstrated that even though our client’s systems were hacked, they had reasonable measures in place to prevent hacking.
  • Prevailed in defense of a patent infringement action for Lacerta which alleged infringement of five patents for tamper-evident and tamper-resistant plastic food containers. After a 13-day trial, the jury found that Lacerta did not infringe any of the patents and invalidated all 28 asserted claims across the five patents owned by Inline.
  • Obtained multi-million damages and sanctions award against Singapore company that unlawfully terminated IT company’s access to software platform required to process compensation for nationwide sales force.
  • Won summary judgment in favor of commercial real estate company in lawsuit by former limited partner alleging breach of contract and fiduciary duties in Massachusetts federal court.
  • Represented a manufacturer of medical devices accused of patent infringement, copyright infringement, and trade secret misappropriation. Successfully disposed of the copyright claims pre-trial and prevailed on the patent infringement claims mid-trial.  The remaining trade secret claims were tried to a jury, resulting in a favorable outcome.
