Owen’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, government investigations, and employment law. He serves his clients by resolving disputes through court proceedings or alternative resolution mechanisms. Owen’s experience includes:
- Defending a health care facility involving a False Claims Act retaliation law suit;
- Representing a former employee in a trade secret misappropriation claim brought against them by their former employer, a medical device manufacturer;
- Acquittal, after two-week jury trial, for Massachusetts State Trooper charged with excessive force in effectuating arrest; and
- Successful negotiation with United States Attorneys’ Offices and United States Department of Justice to bring close investigation into potential violations of the Sherman Antitrust Act.
